As Sacred Heart Convent proudly celebrates its 75th year of excellence in education, we reflect on a journey grounded in our enduring motto: ‘Truth, Love, and Duty.’ From modest beginnings to a thriving institution, the legacy of Sacred Heart is one of vision, perseverance, and faith.
1950 – A VISION TAKES ROOT
The story began in 1950, with a heartfelt invitation from His Lordship Bishop Andrew D’Souza of Pune. In response, on 9th March 1950 the Sisters of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Trivandrum Province) Sr. Mary Alexis, Sr. Mary Lucilla, Sr. Mary Victoria, and Sr. Mary Leonie set out to establish a mission in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. Their hearts full of hope, they came to fulfil a noble vision: to offer value based holistic education.

In the year 2025, the school proudly celebrates 75 years of dedicated service and excellence - a jubilee marking decades of nurturing generations, inspiring hearts, and shaping futures.
