1950 – A VISION TAKES ROOT
The story began in 1950, with a heartfelt invitation from His Lordship Bishop Andrew D’Souza of Pune. In response, on 9th March 1950 the Sisters of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Trivandrum Province) Sr. Mary Alexis, Sr. Mary Lucilla, Sr. Mary Victoria, and Sr. Mary Leonie set out to establish a mission in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Their hearts full of hope, they came to fulfil a noble vision: to offer value based holistic education.
